I found Alex from theknot.com and we're sooo glad that we did. She is SO wonderful to work with! We got married in South Lake Tahoe and we booked Alex a year in advance. I live in San Francisco so I mostly worked with Alex via phone and email as far as what kind of pictures I had in mind for our wedding. I also shared with her my Pinterest board and she sure delivered! We had a beach ceremony and Alex was not afraid to get down and dirty in the sand to get the shot. She was walking barefoot alongside me while we were taking shots in the sand. She always made sure we were comfortable and none of the pictures seemed force. She also hired an assistant to help her with our wedding day and he was very helpful as well! Overall I would recommend Alex to anyone looking for a great photographer for their wedding. Thank you so much Alex for all of your hard work and for commuting up to Tahoe for us!

We had our engagement pictures done with Photography by Alex. The experience with Photography by Alex was over all, amazing. Alex and her assistants took their time with us to make sure she got the shots WE wanted. She made it clear that the photo shoot was for us and about us, that's not very common anymore. Alex asked us, before the day of the shoot, what we wanted and where, and had no problem traveling over an hour to the spot we wanted. We got day and night shots, which meant hours of time. Alex and her crew were very patient and willing to drive around to three different spots in the cold weather. The photos turned out even better than I imagined. Alex made some of photos in black and white so I could have choices and was willing to make any editing I asked for, I didn't need any extra editing, they were perfectly done. I would recommend Photography by Alex to anyone who needs a photographer and can't wait to have her photograph my wedding!

posted 9/30/2015 We love our Wedding Photos! Alex has a true eye and natural instinct as a photographer to capture the most important moments and settings. She is wonderful to work with, which made our wedding day that much more special, we got many compliments from our wedding party and family that we hired someone who truly cared and had a good sense of humor. We will cherish our wedding pictures for the rest of our lives.
